INPUT Workshop on Advanced EMG Processing for Prosthesis Control

INPUT Workshop on Advanced EMG Processing for Prosthesis Control

In this workshop, we will introduce control techniques for myoelectric prostheses. Specifically, we will present methods for EMG recording and processing aimed at controlling multifunction prostheses. Every day, a time slot will be dedicated to hands-on exercises where the participants will be able to use instruments and tools provided by the organizers.

Organizer

Silvia Muceli received the M.Sc. degrees in Electronics Engineering from the University of Cagliari, Cagliari, Italy, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree at The International Doctoral School in Biomedical Science and Engineering, Center for Sensory-Motor Interaction (SMI), Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark, in 2013. Her main research interests concern surface and intramuscular electromyography, signal processing of biomedical signals, modularity in human motor control, advanced prosthetic control, bioelectrode design.

She is currently Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Neurorehabilitation Systems, University Medical Center Göttingen, Georg-August University, Germany, within the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience (BCCN).
